A PostNuke-compatible classified ad program

LiquidClassifieds is a PostNuke-compatible classified ad program. It features easy to remember URLs, a side block (so every page of your PostNuke site can show the ads), categories, BBCode support, and anonymous posting. Email addresses of registered users are safeguarded. Unregistered users can post, but cannot edit ads. This release splits LiquidClassifieds into two pieces: a server, which retains the name LiquidClassifieds, and a client, which adopts the name LiquidClassifiedsXML. The server produces XML for use by the client.

The main purpose of this is to enable pooling of ads across Web sites, so that many small Web sites can, in effect, have the classified ad system of a large Web site. This release adds a “Post an Ad” image, a “Check the National/International Listings” link, a “Return to Regional Listing link”, a Gambling category, improved support for multi-site installations, improved support for subdirectory installations, improved support for standalone (non-Nuke) installations, and improved default text. Internationalization, new categories (Web Hosting, Web Design, Graphic Design, Programming, and Travel and Lodging), improved config file, and enhanced support for PHP-Nuke.

This version adds blocks to the package, improvs visibility of Network members, renames the configuration file to avoid confusion with the PHP-Nuke’s/PostNuke’s config.php, adds auto-detection of CMS type, improves handling of network and $docroot problems, renames Programming category to Software, and adds Barter, Housing, Humor, News, Personals, and Seeking Work categories.

TinyMCE is a platform-independent, Web-based, Javascript HTML WYSIWYG editor control. Its main features include theme/template support, language support, and plugin extensions. This release adds a handleNodeChange callback to themes, fixes some bugs with events and themes function checks, and resolves an issue that arose when the user selected nodes with the keyboard.

This release adds an “add_form_submit_trigger” (this option is the default and is added to all document forms within the page), moves the Javascript sourcecode file to “jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce_src.js” (to address bug #923362), adds a new obfuscated version of tinymce to reduce the size of the script, adds some performance boosting code to the switchClassSticky function, removes the “autosave” option (this is no longer needed and is replaced with “add_form_submit_trigger” or a triggerSave call), fixes an undo bug in MSIE, and removes some unused eventhandlers, resulting in better performance.

This release fixes a bug when insertLink and insertImage function didn’t use the url_convertor callback, an MSIE bug when images was 32×32 on initialization on slow connections, a bug that made requests on images with wrong path and produced some 404 error in Webserver logs, and an MSIE bug where users could add images outside of the editor scope. This release adds a new Italian language pack and documentation, fixes the missing “lang_help_desc” definition in the UK and SE langpacks, adds better documentation for the “valid_elements” option and its format, adds a new “preformatted” option to address feature request #927948, adds a browser checker so the script won’t break on incompatible browsers, fixes bug #926639 (now the editor instance gets resized if a width/height is specified in %), and adds a new simple theme with only basic functions.
